Tàijíquán 太极拳, phonetically spelled T’ai chi ch’uan, has a long rich history. A martial art that originated in a small rural farming village.

Why Chen Style? It was the Chen family that developed Tai Chi and it is a martial art that has been handed down from the 1600s through each generation to the present. All variations of Tai Chi originate with Chen Tai Chi.

Regardless of age or physical ability this movement art has something to offer everyone.

Develop strength, balance, fluidity of movement, and relaxation through the practice of Taijiquan.

This excerpt was part of an introduction from the first commercially available Chen Taiji videos in the United States.
